FIRE STAR

Fire Star, LavaGround Warrior, hailing from the musical center of Portmore, Jamaica chants truths as he observes and journeys each day. Surrounded by the inspiration of life, his lyrics are profound, high impact, cultural and full of lava ground heights of fire. Chanting lyrics, his avenue of expression since early childhood, became his professional focus at age 18 when he recorded his first single. Though it wasnt released, it was an opportunity for both him to experience studio production and for his talents to be observed by others in the music business. Discovered first by the Bingi Production team and management, Fire Star, then called Major Crunch by supporting fans and family, recorded two singles, one of which was successful in reaching the radio waves. Fire Star continued his journey and search, feeling that his music and production could elevate yet to a higher heights. At this point, changing his environment and finding a deeper livity and more rooted perception of life, his lyrics became even more powerful. Living in Portmore, Jamaica and linking with both the now internationally recognized artist I-Wayne and Prefect, now in England designing his own clothing line named Lava Wear, the three aspiring artists became the original Lava Ground Warriors, along with the driving influence of their i-dren and manager, Firedre, and originated the phrase, Lava, which is now splashing throughout the airways. Full of lyrics, style, sound and stage presence, Fire Star is commanding international attention. Managed by Rootical Music and working in conjunction with HEDDROKK production team, Fire Star is currently completing his CD to be released early 2007 and is featured on I-Waynes album, LavaGround, produced by Loyal Soldiers and VP Records. On the forefront of Jamaicas heights-ing young artists, Fire Stars newly released singles are impacting the radio waves with pure lava fire. Playing regularly are “Stop” on the Internationally played GrassRoots Rhythm, “Reason” on Rootical’s Cruising Altitude, “Rules and Laws” on LavaGround’s BuzhRock Rhythm.
